DRC Chapter of the Tabita Leadership Program

Aïcha Ngando Betombo

DRC Chapter Lead Director

Aïcha NGANDO BETOMBO, 44 years old, serves as the Chef de Poste at the Office Congolais de Contrôle (OCC), a role comparable to the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). Stationed at the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda, She plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and standards of goods crossing the border.

Mission Statement

Her mission is to empower young professional women to discover themselves and unlock their potential through the Tabita comprehensive programs. Leadership, to her, is about influence and impact. It’s not just about holding a position of authority; it's about inspiring and guiding others toward a common goal. Effective leadership requires self-awareness, a clear vision, and the ability to communicate that vision in a way that motivates and empowers others. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to contribute their best.

The DRC Chapter: Empowering Women Leaders

In this chapter, we focus on:

  • Personal Development Training: Mastering skills such as reading, sharing life stories through writing, and public speaking
  • Specialized Business Training: Offering programs in business modeling, strategic planning, and problem-solving to enhance career growth and leadership capabilities.

The DRC Chapter stands out in addressing and overcoming the unique challenges faced by leaders, particularly women. Join us in this extraordinary journey of growth and empowerment.
