Tabita Initiative Launches Weekly Alumni Webinars to Deepen Growth Beyond the Program

by Dorcus Magoba / Wednesday, 30 July 2025 / Published in Coaching

At Tabita Initiative, we believe that transformation doesn’t end when a program concludes it begins there. This conviction lies at the heart of our latest milestone: the official launch of our Weekly Alumni Webinars, a new platform designed to sustain growth, connection, and leadership development among women long after their training journey.

The inaugural session took place on July 28, 2025, and was powerfully led by Grace Batambuze (Walker) , one of our passionate alumni. She tackled the theme “Building Confidence as a Young Leader,” unpacking practical insights on how women can cultivate inner strength, take bold steps even when uncertain, and build leadership from a place of identity and purpose.

“Confidence is not about having it all figured out it’s about showing up with willingness, courage, and a growth mindset,” Grace shared during the session.

The Weekly Alumni Webinars are part of our broader commitment to nurture a lifelong learning culture within the Tabita community. These webinars will be led by members of the Alumni themselves, creating space for peer-to-peer learning, storytelling, mentorship, and idea exchange.

From leadership to business, personal growth to faith, each week promises fresh perspectives that reflect the diverse passions and strengths within our network.

“At Tabita, we don’t end the relationship we simply begin it. The rest is infinity,” says the Tabita Initiative Team.

This new series is coordinated by our dedicated Alumni Engagement Coordinator Babra Irakiza a Transformational Coach, who continues to build bridges and support systems for our graduates. Her work ensures that the energy, connection, and sisterhood built during the program is sustained long after the last session.

As our alumni continue to rise and impact their communities, the Weekly Webinars will serve as a reminder that growth is not a destination but a shared journey one that’s better walked together.

We invite all alumni to stay engaged, sign up for upcoming webinars, and even step up to host a session. This platform is yours let’s use it to inspire, uplift, and empower one another across Uganda and beyond.

To our growing family: your journey matters. Your voice matters. Your leadership matters.

Join the movement. Lead with purpose. Grow with Tabita.
